Megan Gale

Gale was just 18 when took part in a modeling competition held she won in Perth. Gale was the model for several years before she became known at the age of 19 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) asked her to model in adverts. She continued to be employed as a model for the company until. In 2003 it was announced that Gale was hired by the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. The model has also been featured in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale has modeled for Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway in the fashion houses of Mariella Burani, and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. (9) Gale has also been a big fan of numerous Australian fashion designers, including Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale served as moderator of the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. Gale declared in January 2008 her decision to retire in fashion after fifteen productive years. Just a few weeks later on, during the unveiling of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the last time on the catwalk. Gale wore her Wonder Woman costume she had been planning to wear to her role in the Justice League of America film that was in development.
