Machine Gun Kelly

The rapper was born Colson Baker, Machine Gun Kelly is a famous American rapper who achieved a meteoric success due to his distinct style and musical abilities. Best known for his rapid fire lyrical flow, which was also the source of his stage moniker Machine Gun Kelly, MGK began rapping at high school. He quickly built a loyal following in the local community by releasing a number of mixtapes. The stamp of approval was his debut mixtape, released in the year 2006. It attracted many eyes. MGK's first mixtape was a huge success, and gave him faith to go after a career in the music industry. Over the next few years the producer released four more mixtapes. In 2011, his career began to take off when he signed the deal with Bad Boy and Interscope Records. In the following year the first album of his career Laces Up was released and received favorable reviews from critics. The album debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, it featured a number of hits including Wild Boy, Invincible, Stereo, and Hold On (Shut up!). General Admission, his second album which debuted in October 2015, was ranked fourth on the Billboard 200. It also was ranked first in the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
